Union Christian College and IGNCA will enter into an MOU for the documentation of rock art in Kerala.
This was decided in the meeting of the officials of Indira Gandhi National Centre for the Arts (IGNCA),
New Delhi and Union Christian College which was held in the College on 11 September 2014. Dr. A.
Benny Cherian (Principal) Dr. Raju.K.John (Manager) interacted with Dr Malla and Dr Ranbeer Singh from
IGNCA’s Rock Art Department. The research project will be coordinated by Dr. Jenee Peter from the
department of History. The project will start by constituting an inter-disciplinary team. There will be a
one day orientation workshop in the College for the team members and a general orientation for the
interested students. The duration of the project will be one-two years.
