The Department of History at Union Christian College is pleased to announce the establishment of the Devanandan Memorial Endowment. Following the Governing Body meeting held on 16 July 2025, the family has generously pledged a donation of ₹1,00,000. The endowment will serve two purposes: first, to support a needy I MA History student identified by the department from the 2026–27 academic year onwards; and second, to institute the annual Devanandan Endowment Lecture in the Department of History beginning in the 2026–27 academic year.
