On 30 September 2013, the History Association organized an elocution competition on the topic: “Teachers as Facilitators of Socio-Political Ethics in Students”. The students were given ten minutes to prepare and six minutes to speak on the given topic. The participants made certain convincing arguments and were at their best articulate self. The audience listened with rapt attention, and encouraged them. The competition was judged by Mr. Cheri Jacob of the English Department. Following the competition, he responded to the presentations made by the students, inviting much appreciation and applause. As for the results of the competition, Parvathy M. S. of II BA History came first, Jeril Joy of III BA History came second, and Yadu Pushkaran of I MA History and Manisha of I BA History came third. Congratulations!
