Meera GM 
An alumni of Union Christian College, Meera joined our department as guest faculty this September 2015. She was an active member of the student community and Vice Chairperson of Union Christian College in the year 2010-11. She had secured university first rank in history degree and also topped Archaeology and Museology diploma the same year in MG University (2011). She went on to pursue her first Masters from prestigious Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi in Ancient Indian History (2013). She was also part of the student delegation to Sri Lanka from JNU with a team of students supervised by Prof. R Mahalakshmi. Later, she received full scholarship from the Leiden University, The Netherlands and joined the Cosmopolisprogramme at Leiden. She underwent Dutch language training and further secured a second Masters degree in Colonial and Global History from Leiden University (2015). She has presented her research papers in Germany and The Netherlands in the broad field of early modern South Asia. She has her forthcoming publication in the edited volume of Oxford University Press.
