Dr.Jenee Peter, Assistant Professor, Department of P.G and Research centre in History, Union Christian College won an award for the best paper presentation in a national seminar on Cultural Heritage of Kerala: Some Dimensions organized by the Centre for Heritage Studies (CHS), Tripunithura, Ernakulam. Her seminar paper on The Umbrella Stones of Kerala: Hierarchies and Mortuary Variability selected for this Award. The award is a combination of cash prize worth Rs. 5000 instituted by the Indian Society of Authors (InSA), New Delhi and a memento by the Centre for Heritage Studies. The award was handed over by Justice K.Sukumaran in the presence of Dr T.P Sankrankutty Nair, Director General CHS and the Dean Prof. Rema Rajan during the function held on 4thOctober 2015 at CHS, Tripunithura. jp photo
