Dr. Sebastian Joseph delivered a lecture on ‘Perspectives on Environmental History’ at St. Mary’s College, Manarcaud, on 4 October 2013. The lecture covered the emergence of environmental history as an important area of historical research, and the shift it has initiated in the writing of history, especially in the context of South Asia. The lecture was attended by faculty members and students of the college, and was followed by an interactive session.
