The Department of History, Union Christian College, Aluva, inaugurated a lecture series in connection with its Diamond Jubilee celebrations. Dr. V. J. Varghese, faculty member of the Department of History, University of Hyderabad, delivered the inaugural lecture on the topic “Doing History in Global Time.” Dr. Jenny Peter, Head of the Department of History, and Dr. Hanu G. Das, Seminar Coordinator, also spoke on the occasion.
ആലുവ യൂണിയൻ ക്രിസ്ത്യൻ കോളേജ് ചരിത്ര വിഭാഗം ഡയമണ്ട് ജൂബിലിയോട് അനുബന്ധിച്ചുള്ള ലക്ചർ സീരീസ് ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്തു. ഹൈദരാബാദ് സെൻട്രൽ യൂണിവേഴ്സിറ്റി ചരിത്ര വിഭാഗം അധ്യാപകൻ ഡോ. വി. ജെ. വർഗീസ് “ഡൂയിങ് ഹിസ്റ്ററി ഇൻ ഗ്ലോബൽ ടൈം” എന്ന വിഷയത്തിൽ സംസാരിച്ചു. ചരിത്ര വകുപ്പ് അധ്യക്ഷ ഡോ. ജെനി പീറ്റർ, സെമിനാർ കോർഡിനേറ്റർ ഡോ. ഹനു ജി. ദാസ് എന്നിവർ സംസാരിച്ചു.
